Background
At the 2025 Global Telecom Smart City Summit, HuaDian Networks presented the outcomes of the “Yawan Refinery 5G AIoT Smart Industrial Park Safety Application Project.”
Implemented at CPC Corporation’s Dalin Refinery, the project integrates a 5G private network with AI technologies to build a smart industrial park, showcasing 5G intelligent solutions and industrial safety applications.

Project Brief
For the “Shaping the Future: Yawan Refinery 5G AIoT Smart Industrial Park” results press conference, a main visual system was developed to convey the core values of professionalism, safety, and intelligence.
The design highlights the high-efficiency potential of 5G private networks and the applied outcomes of AIoT smart technologies.
To distinguish the event from the typical tech visuals dominated by blue or green, the design draws inspiration from the setting of CPC’s Dalin Refinery, presenting a new era of 5G AIoT smart technology and redefining the visual language associated with industrial innovation.
Design Rationale
Centered on real refinery imagery, the visual adopts a dark, night-gradient palette accented with bright purple and green lighting to emphasize the sense of industrial advancement brought by technological progress.
By depicting the Dalin Refinery in a concrete, realistic scene, the design highlights the practical impact of implementing 5G technology. The overall style is steady, refined, and forward-looking.
Lettermark
The title design is based on a sans-serif typeface, using right-leaning weight distribution and dynamic lines to convey the efficiency, technological character, and stability of 5G AIoT applications. With monospaced alignment, the overall style remains rational and clean.
For Chinese text, Source Han Sans is used for its modern, minimalist form, enhancing both consistency and readability within the technological theme.
For English and numerals, Manrope is paired with Source Han Sans to maintain visual coherence. Widely used in international tech contexts, it reinforces a contemporary and technological tone.
Colors
Centered around a green-based palette, the visual combines bright purple and blue tones to balance technological sophistication with stability, conveying an industry image rooted in safety and intelligence. A fluid gradient background further enhances the sense of data flow and digital motion.
